Betty Bigelow Scott

Betty Louise (Boyd) Bigelow Scott, 95, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Livingston Manor.

Betty was born March 22, 1924 in Chillicothe to parents Tommy and Lela Mae Scott Boyd. She worked for 36 years at the Lambert glove factory earning a supervisor position before retirement.

She enjoyed dancing and loved to travel with her mother and great aunt Belle. Her family time was very important to her.

Betty is survived by her children, Tonie Pew and husband Steve of Ludlow, Scott Bigelow and wife Sandra of Benton, Arkansas, Vickie Rohrback and life partner Dale Adkison of Braymer, Neal Bigelow and wife Rene of Chillicothe; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren,

Brother, Bob Boyd of Waterloo, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Juanita “Babe” Williams, and brother, Darrell Boyd.

Memorials in honor of Betty may be left to the Wheeling Cemetery. Memorials may be made to or left at Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, MO 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home in Chilicothe.
