Bonnie Mae Head, 77, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe, under the care of her family and Three Rivers Hospice of Cameron MO.
Bonnie was born in Chillicothe MO on May 16, 1940, the daughter of Melvin Russell Jacobs and Mabel LaBelle Howe Cox. She attended Chillicothe schools.
She was an interior decorator in the area for many years and also a homemaker.
Bonnie attended Lifepoint Church when her health would allow and she enjoyed gardening, sewing, antiquing, cooking for large groups of family and friends, and continuously changing her interior décor.
She is survived by seven children, Carl Head, Joan Hopper, Bobby Head, Cynthia Cairns, Billi Jo Mueller (Chris), Vicki Diggs (Courtney), Carol Head, all of Chillicothe; 26 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; five sisters, Donna Conner, Wanda Pauls (Jim), Joyce Jacobs (Mike), Pam Schmidt, and Tammy Bernskoetter all of Chillicothe; two brothers, Elden Provolt (Lana) of Wheeling MO and Melvin Jacobs, Jr. of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Amy Jo Archer; brothers, John Provolt and Gary Provolt; a sister, Patty Jo Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at a private cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home.
