Clifton Lyle Eckert, 61, of Chula, MO passed away Monday, February, 27, 2012 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.
He was born July 7, 1950 in Sterling City, CA the son of Charles Eckert and Edna Fern Holden Eckert.
Clifton Lyle was a graduate of Laredo High School and was a heavy equipment operator for Hunts Midwest Mining Corp. for many years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Clifton Lyle is survived by his mother, Fern Eckert of Laredo, MO; sons Kevin Eckert and wife, Patricia, of Galt, MO, Jason Eckert and fiancé, Heather Coffman, of Laredo, MO and Brian Eckert and wife Jamie of Galt, MO; daughter, Bettina Eckert of Chillicothe, MO; brother, Charles Ray Eckert and wife, Wanda, of Laredo, MO and fourteen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Eckert; sister, Carolyn VanCamp; and a brother, Melvin Eckert.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO
Burial will be at Wallace Cemetery, Chula, MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
