Cody Lee Adkison, 30, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Cody was born April 30, 1985 in Chillicothe, the son of David Allen Adkison and Lori Anne Mathews Adkison. He graduated in 2002 from Chillicothe High School.
He married Dawn Eilene Yeomans December 30, 2008 in Chillicothe. She survives of the home.
Cody was an electrician and worked for 7 years for Fellhoelter Electric in Chillicothe and did both residential and commercial jobs. He was currently working for Barts Electric in Liberty, MO.
He enjoyed fishing, turkey hunting and going mudding. His most special times were spent with his family and friends.
Cody is survived by his wife, Dawn of the home; a son Levi Adkison of the home; stepsons, Colton Ashford and Caleb Ashford of Chillicothe; Carli Ashford of Chillicothe: his mother Lori Anne Adkison of Chillicothe and his father David Allen Adkison of Hamilton, MO; grandmother Carol Mathews Barlow (Darrell) of Chillicothe; paternal grandmother Patricia Adkison; brother Thommas Adkison; 3 sisters, Brooklyn , Allie and Chelsea Adkison all of Chillicothe; Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Mathews and an infant sister, Ashley.
The family suggests memorials be made to Heritage Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and left at or mailed to the funeral home at 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe Mo 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
There will be a cremation with burial at a later date.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
