Dixie Zita Allnutt, 77, of Chillicothe, MO died Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City MO.
Dixie was born in Chula MO the daughter of Thomas Wayne Mills and Goldie Catherine Hines Mills.
She was a homemaker and owned and operated a beauty salon and a car lot and also did house painting & wallpapering
She enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with her children. She was also a member of the Order of Eagles Aerie 2428 Auxiliary in Chillicothe.
Dixie is survived by six children, Ritchie Allnutt (Lynn) of Chillicothe, Brenda Batson (George) of Chillicothe, Dana Hughes (Gary) of Cameron MO, Valerie Holmes (David) of Gladstone MO, Lori LeVora (Steve) of Chillicothe, and Crystal Callaway of Irving TX; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; life partner, Bill Welch of Chilliicothe; a brother, Jim Mills (Judy) of San Angelo TX; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dick, Charles and Wilbur Mills; sisters, Lela Graves, Mabel Amos, Lavonne Miller and Bessie Blattner.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
There is no scheduled visitation.
A celebration of Dixie’s life will be held at the Eagles Aerie 2428 in Chillicothe from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. following the Memorial Service on Friday.
Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery at a later date.
