     Donald Braymer, 63, of Laclede passed away at KU Medical Center in Kansas City on Friday the 4th of October, 2024. Donald was born September 7, 1961, the son of Hugh Braymer and Ellen McDonnell Braymer.

     Don graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1980 and  attended North Central Missouri College. Don married Donna Buttz on August 18, 1984 at Mooresville Christian Church. He owned his own trucking business and later was Shop Forman at a parts distributor. In his free time, Don enjoyed being a sprint car crew chief for his friend and favorite driver Mark Botts. He also enjoyed hunting, shooting, riding the “Blue Beast,” and spending time with his dogs as they walked the farm. He also treasured spending time with his friends and loving family.

     Don is survived by his wife, Donna Braymer, their son, Benjamin Braymer of Chillicothe, MO, daughter, Paige Braymer of Clawson, MI, Don’s sister, Patricia Davison and her husband Dean of Shawnee, KS, mother-in-law, Judy Slama of Mesa, AZ, two brothers-in-law, Joe Buttz and his wife Dana of Platte City, MO, and Jeff Buttz and his wife Theresa of St. Joseph, MO, two sisters-in-law, Janet Lansing and her husband Russ of FT Dodge, IA, and Tammy Schultz of Cushing, MN, as well as several nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Ellen Braymer, his father-in-law, William Buttz, and brother-in-law, Doug Schultz.

     A visitation service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 11am to 12pm with a memorial service following after.
