Donald Ruben O’Dell, 90, of Chillicothe MO passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home in Chillicothe.
Donald was born March 25, 1925 in Chillicothe, the son of Charley O’Dell and Abbie Jane Hatfield O’Dell.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1943 thru 1946.
On September 20, 1947, Donald married the love of his life for 67 years, Betty Jean Baker. She survives of the home.
Donald was a shipping manager at Lambert Glove in Chillicothe for 55 years.
He was a member of the VFW Post #25 in Chillicothe.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking but spending time with his family always came first in his life.
His survivors include his wife Betty; a brother, Vernon O’Dell; 4 sisters-in-law, Vivian Bryson, Jo Baker, Velva O’Dell and Lavone O’Dell; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Charley, Robert, Bennie and Stanley; 5 sisters, Nellie, Lula, Gloria, Alice and Bessie; 2 nephews, Gary Dee Burton and Donald O’Dell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial with Military Honors will be at Utica Cemetery, Utica MO.
There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
