Donna Horton

Donna Kay (Pray) Horton, 73, of Farmersville, Missouri passed away Monday February 9, 2021.

Donna was born July 15, 1947 to parents Vernon W. and Elsie Marie Hatfield Pray in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1965 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She married Alfred Raymond Horton September 3, 1965 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Donna worked at Montgomery Ward and MFA Seeds as a secretary until she retired in 1985.

Donna was a homemaker, loved birds and loved baking for whoever came along hungry. She made several loaves of bread a day and also found time to make goods for the Chillicothe Farmers Market each Saturday. She made candies for her friends and family for the Holidays. Donna was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Chula, Missouri. Most importantly she loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.

Donna is survived by her husband, Al Horton he survives of the home; son, Randy Horton and wife Lori of Farmersville; step-son Kevin Engleman and wife Sharon of East Lynn: grandchildren, Kenzy Horton of Jamesport; Ben Engleman of East Lynn ; brandy Engleman of East Lynn; brother, Bill Pray of Chula.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Elsie Pray.

Calling hours will be held Monday, February 15,2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday February 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home.
