Dorothy Irene Gilgour, 69, of Chillicothe MO passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Dorothy was born in Wauneta, Nebraska the daughter of Jessie Furman Troxel and Velma Irene Ridlen Troxel.
She worked as a leather inspector at Midwest Gloves for 35 years.
On November 25, 1966, Dorothy married Danny (Boone) Gilgour in Breckenridge, MO. He preceded her in death.
She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching game shows and spending time with her boys.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Darrell Gilgour and wife Kim, and David Gilgour and wife Amy, all of Chillicothe; grandson, Chase Gilgour; a sister, Rose Williams of Reno NV; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Boone; sister, Alice Weaver and a brother, Eugene Troxel.

Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, New York, MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
