Eddie Harlan Hague, 88 of Chillicothe MO passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe.
Eddie Harlan Hague was born January 10, 1927 to Levi A. and Eva Gertrude (McCullough) Hague in Half Rock MO. He was one of 15 children.
In 1945 he entered the United States Army and served in Fort Richardson, Alaska as corporal.
September 29, 1951 he was united in marriage to Hazel Jean Ellis. Together they raised 5 children. They were married for 56 years before her passing in 2008.
He attended the Calvary Theological Seminary College in Kansas City and obrained his Certificate of License to preach in 1962 while working at Dupont in Tecumseh KS. After his ordination he helped to establish churches in Elm Grove, Eudora, Easton, and Oskaloosa, Kansas. He moved the family to Trenton, Mo and established the Trenton Baptist Temple. He was actively involved in ministries to the nursing homes in surrounding communities.
Eddie was a Pastor for over 35 years, the voice of “The Good News Radio Broadcast” and fostered several children. Eddie and Jennie loved having kids in the house. He enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and singing and spreading the word of the gospel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Eva Hague, his first wife Cora Jane Shores and infant son Eddie Wayne; brothers, JL, Dale (Shirley), Max (Geneva), Allen (Jean) Bob (Catherine), Bill (Barbara); Sisters: Infant sister, Davona (Ron) Greener, Betty (Carroll) Beemer.
Survivors include children, Randy (Nancy) Hague, Linda (Bob) Simpson, Sharon (John) French, Sandy (Todd) Shumaker, Michael (Lyn) Hague; brothers, Jack (Bev) Hague, Jimmy Lee (Maggie) Hague, Ruth Chipps, Mary Wallace, Donna Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many fostered children.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Half Rock Cemetery, Half Rock MO.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at heritage Funeral Home.
