Edward Shane Acree, 34 , of Gallatin, MO passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home in Gallatin. He was born June 10, 1979 in Chillicothe, MO, the son of Ora Paul Acree, Sr. and Kathleen Frances (Donovan) Acree.
He was a 1997 graduate of J.C. Penney High School, Hamilton, MO and attended Missouri Western State University and Northwest Missouri State University. Ed worked in the warehouse for such companies as Cardinal Health, C.D. Smith, Amerisource Bergan, and McQueary Brothers-McKesson
Eddie enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, international Scouts, old Cars and especially, basketball.
He is survived by his parents, Ora Paul Acree, Sr. and Kathleen F. Acree of Gallatin; brother, Paul (Autumn) Acree of Gallatin; sisters, Anna (Shane) Persell of Trenton and Ella (Chris) Haase of Kingstson; nieces , Jennifer, Morgan, Hannah, Kaci, Alizah and Alanah; paternal grandmother, Elsie Acree of Chillicothe; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Eddie was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Glen Acree, Sr.; maternal grandparents, John and Marie Donovan; uncle, Bruce Acree and an aunt, Roberta Summers.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
A Rosary followed by a visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery, Blue Mound, MO.
