Edward “Bucky” Oren Morris passed away November 2, 2015 at Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.
Bucky was born June 30, 1940 in Utica, Missouri to Margaret E. (Guffey) and Raymond E. Morris. He graduated from Southwest High School, Ludlow MO.
He was a Vitenam era veteran, serving in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961.
He married Joyce E. Searcy on April 11, 1970 in Chillicothe, MO at the Calvary Baptist Church.
Bucky worked in the dairy industry for many years as a lab technician for Producers Creamery.
He was a member of Utica Baptist Church. He enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, going to the casino and spending time with his family.
Bucky is survived by his brother, Wesley E. Morris of Covington, Georgia; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Robert and Jolene Searcy, Debbie Anderson, and Jayona and Roger Rader.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; mother, Margaret Guffey Morris; father, Raymond E. Morris; brothers Gerald Lee Morris and Franklin L. Morris; sisters, Mary M. (Morris) Cole, Doris Lucille (Morris) Thomas, and Betty L. (Morris) Leonard; sisters-in-law, Genevieve F. (Larsen) Morris and Betty L. (Wolf) Morris.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior (9 to 11 a.m.) to the service on Saturday.
