Ella Hatfield

          Ella Mae Hatfield (Nichols), 88, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Livingston Manor under the care of Three rivers Hospice and her family.

          Ella was born in Chillicothe to parents Albert and Clara Nichols on May 22, 1932. She attended Chillicothe High School. Ella worked as a cook for many years. She enjoyed getting to know the people she cooked for and making many friends throughout her career.

          She had several hobbies including playing bingo, doing puzzles, reading, and riding motorcycles. Ella’s best times were spent with her family.

          She is survived by her children, Tresea Boley of Holts Summit, Missouri; Earl McCann of Hollywood, Florida; Earnest McCann of Brookfield, Missouri; Trena Hatfield of Kansas City, Missouri; Sheila Hatfield of Kansas City, Missouri; Tammy Hatfield Painter of Hanover, Kansas; Lorraine Hatfield of Mooresville, Missouri; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

          Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hatfield; daughter, Vicki Sue Hatfield; parents Albert and Clara Nichols; and other family members.
