Ellen Louise McKiddy, 84, of Wheeling MO passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, MO.
Ellen was born June 4, 1930 in Maryville MO the daughter of Peter Paul Smith and Alta Margaret Ditto Smith. She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School in Maryville and attended Platte Business College in St. Joseph MO.
On June 12, 1949 Ellen married Kenneth C. McKiddy in Maryville and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2004.
Ellen worked as an administrative secretary at Hedrick Medical Center and retired from there after 25 years of service.
She was a member of the Wheeling Baptist Church, a life member of the Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary and a member of the Association of Retired Missouri Employees.
Ellen is survived by 4 children, Cheryl (Bruce) Roark of Colorado Springs CO, Brenda (Fred) Warner of Wheeling MO, Timothy (Lorie) McKiddy of Kingsville MO and Terry (Anne) McKiddy of Chillicothe MO; 9 grandchildren, Dustin (Anne) Roark, Luke (Lauren) McKiddy, Levi McKiddy, Jacob McKiddy, Samantha McKiddy, Nathan McKiddy, Taylor McKiddy, Teddie Warner, and C.J. Williams; a brother, Francis D. Smith of Savannah MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; and a grandson, Ryan Corbin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
