Everett Edwin Haynes, 90. Of Chillicothe, formerly of the Blue Mound area, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Indian Hills in Chillicothe.
Edwin was born December 29, 1925 in Blue Mound, MO the son of Everett Ross Haynes and Marjorie Marie Park Haynes. He attended Blue Mound Schools.
On February 12, 1945 Edwin Married Ellenore Marie Johnson in Chillicothe, MO. She preceded him in death in 2002.
He was a life-long farmer in the Blue Mound area.
Edwin and Ellenore were very active in the community and he was a member of the Dawn Federated Church, Tina-Avalon School Board and the Blue Mound Cemetery Board for several years.
He was a genuine cowboy and enjoyed riding horses, talking politics, hunting and spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
Edwin is survived by a daughter, Robyn LaVelle and husband Pete of Arlington, TN; son, Edwin L. (Butch) Haynes and wife Linda of Dawn, MO; two sons-in-law, Jerry L.Condron of Dawn MO and Terry Bristow of Tina MO; grandchildren, Rob Bristow of Fulton MO, Tina Jones of Chillicothe MO, Angela Verjan of Memphis TN, Kirby Condron of Houston TX, Jeremy Condron of Dawn MO, Shandra Zornes of Lee’s Summit MO, Lori Ann Owens of Laredo MO, Chad Haynes of Dawn Mo and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellenore; two daughters, Pamela Kay Bristow and Charlotte Sue Condron; and a grandson, James Robert Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday. (11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.).
Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery, Dawn MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
