Frances Louise Howe, 74, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Frances was born in Braymer, MO on March 6, 1939, the daughter of Clyde Mantzey Johnson and Blanche Lavena Newell Decker . She was a graduate of Stet High School.
Frances worked as a secretary and switch board operator for University of Missouri in Kansas City, and in various businesses in the Kansas City area.
She married Charles Howe and he preceded her in death.
Frances was a member of the Eagles Aerie # 2428 in Chillicothe and enjoyed dancing, ceramics and spending time with her family and friends
She is survived by two sons, Darryl Blevins and wife Sarah of Kansas City, MO and Roger Blevins and wife Cindy of Kansas City, KS; a brother, Clyde “Butch” Johnson and wife Glenda of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Martha Ellen Sanders and husband Dennis of Point of Rocks, MD and Lois Marie O’Halloran of Kansas City, MO: six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and a brother, Donald Ray Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, MO.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior( 10:00 a.m.) to the service on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home.
