Frances Maud (Dole) Pool, 89, of Clinton, MO passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Frances was born October 16, 1926 in Breckenridge, MO the daughter of Clarence Dole and Opal Fitzpatrick Dole. She was a graduate of Breckenridge High School in 1944.
On April 9, 1944 (Easter Sunday) Frances married George (Bill) Pool in Kansas City, Kansas. Frances and Bill lived in Kansas City, Kansas thirty two years before retiring and moving to Breckenridge.
Frances retired from her position as office manager at Helzberg Diamonds in 1984. She and her husband helped start the Farmer’s Market in Chillicothe. They are well remembered for the large blackberries they grew along with the other beautiful produce. They stayed active in the market for fourteen years.
Frances moved to Chillicothe in 1997. In 2006 Frances moved to Clinton to be closer to her family after her husband passed away.
Frances is survived by her daughter Marilyn Hobbs and husband Ed of Osceola, MO and son Wesley Pool and wife Wanda of Holiday, Florida; grandchildren, Kevin McRae, Joedy Hill, Jason Pool, and Justin Pool: six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren: and a sister, Carolee Sweem and husband Jerry of Hamilton, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; a sister and grandson, Allen.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
A graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery in Breckenridge MO will follow the visitation.
