George Austin Bennett

George Austin Bennett, 83, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his home.

He was born June 20, 1939 in Anthony, Kansas, the son of George and Erma Grindstaff Bennett. He entered the United States Air Force and served four years. Austin married the love of his life, Ronda Culbertson March 17, 1972 in Blue Mound, Missouri. She survives of the home. Austin retired from Trenton Foods and the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was a TV repairman for many years.

Austin enjoyed collecting pocket watches, knives and spending time with his family. Austin attended Life Point Church for many years.

Austin is survived by his wife, Ronda Bennett: son, Bryan Bennett and wife Sandy of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter, Mary Taylor and husband Robbie of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Bennett and wife Betty of Arkansas; sister, Mary Lawrence of Nashville, Tennessee.

Austin was preceded in death by his parents, George and Erma Bennett.

Services for Austin will be held at a later date.
