Gerald Dean Toot, 82, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe.
Jerry was born March 27, 1934 in Spickard MO, the son of Ray W. Toot and Violet P. Batson Toot. He was a graduate of Wheeling High School and attended an area trade school.
He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving from October 1953 until September 1957 and achieved the rank of A/1C (P).
Jerry was a heating and air conditioning technician and worked for Botts & Tye in Chillicothe for many years.
On July 26, 1987, Jerry married Norma Dean Cummings at Bethel Assembly of God in Chillicothe. She survives of the home.
Jerry attended Wheeling Baptist Church. He liked fishing, hunting, reloading ammo and reading technical manuals, but his most enjoyable times were spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; five children, Lonnie Toot (Tammy) of Chillicothe, Travis Toot (Brenda) of Chillicothe, Ronnie Narr (Vonnie) of Meadville MO, Terry Narr (Sharon) of Wheeling MO, and Joy Maberry (David) of Meadville; 13 grandchildren, Chris Toot, Erin Toot, Morgan Toot, Brittany Comer, Natasha Renfro, Trae Toot, Kendra Toot, Monica Palmer, Stacy Waterman, Travis Narr, Brooke Mauvey, Meagan Fletcher, and Hillary Maberry; and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
Burial will be at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling MO.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service (9:30 a.m.) at Heritage Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
