Gloria Ann Moon, 86, of Chillicothe, MO passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
Gloria was born in Chillicothe on May 5, 1927 the daughter of Charley O’Dell and Abbie Jane Hatfield O’Dell. She attended Chillicothe High School.
On June 5, 1967 Gloria married Wilbur Moon in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2007.
Most of her life she was a housewife and mother but she also worked as a clerk in Woolworth’s and a meat cutter at Safeway.
Gloria attended Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe and enjoyed gardening, painting, traveling and spending time with friends at the Grand River Multipurpose Center.
She is survived by a daughter Cindy Owens of Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; three brothers, Stanley (Velda) O’Dell, Donald (Betty) O’Dell and Vernon (Joy) O’Dell; many nieces and nephews.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Linda Whited; brothers Charley, Robert and Benny O’Dell; sisters Lula Burton, Alice Hatfield, Nellie Wendell and Betsy O’Dell.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
