Goldie Kistler

Goldie J. Kistler, 91, of Chillicothe, formerly of Salisbury, MO passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home in Chillicothe under the care of her grandson and daughter.

Goldie was born July 9, 1927 to Douglass and Marie Edwards. She was a graduate of Brunswick High School.

Goldie married her husband of 66 years, Edgar Pershing Kistler, on April 6, 1947 in Dalton Immanuel Methodist Church.

In her younger years Goldie cared for a large garden, canning throughout the season. She enjoyed sewing, hand work, cooking and baking.

Goldie is survived by three daughters, Karen Puckett, Virginia Eschbach and Diann West; three grandchildren, Bobby Eschbach, Adam West and Sarah Vols.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglass and Marie Edwards; husband, Edgar Pershing Kistler.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
