Helen Lee Haley, 95, of Chillicothe MO passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Helen was born June 19, 1919 in rural Livingston County near Springhill MO the daughter of Lewis Cooper and Lena Hargrave Cooper.
She worked most of her adult life as a seamstress and inspector at Lambert Glove Factory in Chillicothe.
Helen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe and was very active and involved in church activities. She liked crocheting, word search puzzles, traveling around town and people watching. Her greatest enjoyment was being involved in all sorts of activities with her family.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Clara Peery of Moberly MO and Catherine Rosson of Brookfield MO; son-in-law, John Shirley of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Frances Shirley; infant son Eldon William Haley; sisters, Maxine Prewitt and Frances Williams; brothers, Ralph Cooper and 2 infant brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 23, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Chillicothe, MO.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service (from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.) on Sunday.
