Helen Louise (Bucher) Harris
Helen Louise Harris, 74, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Indian Hills in Chillicothe.
Helen was born March 24, 1943 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Hollis O’Dell Bucher and Grace Mary Case Bucher. She was a graduate of Argentine High School.
On August 5, 1961, Helen married Robert Harris in Oklahoma. He survives of the home.
Helen was an assistant manager for Walmart and a department manager in the fabric department. She also worked as cafeteria manager for Chillicothe Middle School and then went to Chillicothe High School, retiring after approximately 9 years.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking and playing cards with Robert. The time spent with their children was the most important thing in Helen and Robert’s lives
Helen is survived by her husband, Robert of Chillicothe; four children, Cindy Crookshanks (Randy), Robert J. Harris (Wendy), Connie Courtney, and Wendy Monteer (Larry) all of Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jackie Kania of Leavenworth KS, and Wanda Bucher; brothers Jack Bucher (Ruth Ann) of Leavenworth, Richard Bucher of El Cajon, CA, Raymond Bucher of St. Joseph, MO, Hollis Leroy Bucher of Leavenworth, Marvin Bucher of Leavenworth, Tim Bucher of Leavenworth, and Tom Bucher of Kansas; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home.
