Helen Hussey
June 30, 1939 — January 3, 2018
Dorene Hussey of Braymer, Mo. passed away January 3, 2018. Dorene was born on June 30, 1939 in Dawn Mo. She was a graduate of Tina Avalon School. On October 31, 1957, she united in marriage to Robert Dale Kirkendoll. To this union a son, Robert “Kent” Kirkendoll was born. Dorene spent most of her life working for the City of Independence. In 1996 Dorene lost Bob to a tragic tractor accident. Later in life she was united in marriage to Lonnie “Joe” Hussey. Lonnie and Dorene enjoyed traveling together.
Dorene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, son Kent, and husband Lonnie. She is survived by one grandson Greg Maxwell, two brothers Edward “Short” Barron, and Ted Barron, two sisters Pat Corbin, and Peggy Stratton, one brother in law Gary Stratton, and several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
Burial will be at Utica Cemetery, Utica MO.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m.
