Helen Berry (Curran) Morgan, 88, of Cassville, MO. formerly of Chillicothe, MO, died Monday, October, 3, 2011 at Red Rose Health Care and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
Helen was born September, 11, 1923 in Glasgow, Scotland the daughter of George Curran Sr. and Margaret Fleming Curran.
She was a veteran of the British Royal Air Force, and was a part of supply personnel.
On August 22,1945 Helen married Elston Walker Morgan, in Glasgow, Scotland. They moved to the United States in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed her church, and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, MO.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheena Comer and husband, Rev. Randy Comer of Seligman, MO; son, Ronald Morgan of Richmond, VA; granddaughter, Alissa Deaton and husband Terry of Fort Worth, TX; and great granddaughter, Morgan Deaton of Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Elston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Helen Morgan may be made to World Hunger of the Southern Baptist Convention and mailed in c/o Barry County Southern Baptist Association, 3004 Main St., Cassville, MO 65625. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com .
There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, MO.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. October 6, 2011 at Marshfield City Cemetery, Marshfield, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
