Howard Franklin Brown Jr., 81, of Chula, MO passed away at North Kansas City Hospital.
Howard was born December 8, 1930 in Bethany, MO the son of Howard Franklin Brown Sr. and Vesta Flora Puls Brown. He was a graduate of Bethany High School.
He enlisted in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran serving from 1950 - 1954, attaining the rank of Boatswains Mate III.
While serving in the Navy, Howard met and married the love of his life, Alvesa Soledad Lozano and they were married February 8, 1952 in Bel Air, MD.
Howard was employed for many years at Trenton Foods in Trenton, MO
He attended Liberty Chapel Church in rural Trenton, MO
Howard enjoyed hunting, mowing the yard, but spending time with his family was his main enjoyment.
He is survived by his wife, Alvesa Brown of the home; four children, Howard Franklin Brown III of Chillicothe, Vannesa N. Miller of Portland. OR, Michael Warren Brown of Los Angeles, CA, and Catherine F. Ploof of Chillicothe; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; a brother, John D. Brown of Coffey, MO; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There has been a cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
