Iona Coult

Iona Dean Coult, 91, of Chillicothe passed away Friday October 5, 2018 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

Iona was born on July 30, 1927 in Ames, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Lena Isabelle Stone Cummings. She was a graduate of Chillicothe Business College. Iona married Herbert Coult on March 9, 1947 at the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Contract Bridge League. Iona loved family time and it was expected that Christmas and Thanksgiving were spent together.

Iona is survived by her children, Terry Coult (Anita) of Chillicothe; Stephen Coult (Diana) of St. Joseph; Lynn Lukin (Robb) of Kimberling City; grandchildren, Jamie Domeier (Matt); David Coult; John Coult; Andrew Coult; Matthew Coult (Jessie); Zachary Coult; Samuel Davis; Stephen Davis; Lacy Davis Parker; great grandchildren, Jacob Davis; Mackenzie Parker; Kameryn Parker; Braden Davis; Claire Domeier; Burton Domeier.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband of 59 years Herbert Coult, son Gerry Coult, Sister Clara Hull, Brothers John and Ray Cummings.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
