Jack Constant, 85, of Chillicothe MO, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his residence in Chillicothe.
Jack was born August 2, 1930, in Hawarden, Iowa, the son of James Harve Constant and Adda Ruth Fitzpatrick Constant. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School.
Jack was a United States Navy veteran, serving from 1949 to 1953 in California and Washington.
On November 10, 1950, Jack married his wife of 65 years, JoAnn Graham at Reverend Baker’s home in Chillicothe. She survives of the home.
Jack farmed in the Chillicothe area and was also a retail salesman.
He was a member of the American Legion in Chillicothe. Jack enjoyed playing cards, going to music festivals, and organizing Senior Center dances. Spending time with his family and friends was most important to him.
Jack is survived by his wife JoAnn of the home; two sons, Gary Constant and wife Joyce of Chillicothe, Randy Constant and wife Pam of Chillicothe; grandson, Justin Jungert of Chillicothe; daughter Jennifer Buttman and husband David of Chillicothe; adopted family, Donnie and Mary Davis of Chillicothe; three sisters, Helen Buckner of Wheeling, Lelia Stucker and husband Bill of Chillicothe, and Lillian Frizzell of Corydon, IA; brothers, George Constant and wife Sandy of Trenton, and John Constant of Wheeling; sisters-in-law Norma Constant of Chillicothe and Jean Constant of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bud and Joe; sister, Clara Phillips; brothers-in-law, Dale Phillips, Charles Frizzell, Dick Graham, and Felix Buckner; sister-in-law Betty Constant; daughter, Jacquelyn Jungert; great granddaughter, Isabell Constant.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will be at May Cemetery, Chula, MO.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Heritage Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2015.
