Joan Gamblian

Joan Ann Gamblian, 78, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Indian Hills Care Center.

Joan was born January 15, 1943, to parents Aloysius Nevins and Frances Bush Nevins in Queens, New York. She managed several businesses throughout her life including restaurants and bars.

Joan loved to have a good time. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, had a love of books, and loved her trips to the casino. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandkids and always looked forward to family reunions.

Survived by her children, Dennis Smith and wife Maria of Chillicothe; Thersea Stewart of Lake Mary, Florida; Christine Uwate husband Michael of Clearwater, Florida; Kim Gilgour and husband Darrell of Chillicothe; Kathy Denton husband Rich of Columbia; Chris Gamblian wife Jessica of Jamesport. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister, Alice Smith of Lafayette, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Gamblian; son, James A. Smith; son, Allen Smith; sister Pat Robertson; brother, Thomas Nevins; sister, Jean Smith; brother, Greg Nevins.
