Jolene Fox

Jolene Beth Fox, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021. Jolene was born August 24, 1947 to Virgil and Dorothy (Hughes) Kirby in Creston, Iowa. Jolene married John. O. Fox on October 5, 2002 at the First Christian Church of Chillicothe. She worked as a Customer Support Technician providing assistance to others in the banking industry.

Jolene cherished the time spent with family. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, sewing, shopping, and reading.

Jolene was a member of the First Christian Church of Chillicothe.

Jolene is survived by her husband, John Fox; mother, Dorothy Kirby of Bedford, Iowa; children, Dave (Patty) Kendrick of Overland Park, Kansas, Andrea Hirsch of Lubbock, Texas; step-children, Mike (Tracey O’Hara) Fox of Olathe, Kansas, Marcy Fox of Chillicothe, Missouri. Grandchildren, Claire and Tyler Kendrick, Avery, Evan, and Emory Hirsch, Allie, Austin, and Matthew Fox, Shaun, Haleigh, and Derek O’Hara; sister, Cleota (Art) Tapken of Greenfield, Iowa, Fran (Bill) Dougherty of Bedford, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

Jolene is proceeded in death by her father, Virgil Kirby; husband, David Kendrick; brother, Joseph Kirby.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.
