Linda Marie McDaniel, 59, of rural Chillicothe, MO, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at her home, under the care of her family and Hedrick Medical Center Hospice.
Linda Marie McDaniel was born July 26, 1951 in Jamesport, MO, the daughter of James Edgar Christopher and Margaret Louise Plummer Christopher.
Linda was a graduate of Jamesport High School, and Central Missouri College at Warrensburg. Then she attended Trenton Jr. College, becoming a registered nurse.
On December 5, 1981 Linda married Andrew (Andy) Jackson McDaniel at the First Christian Church in Chillicothe, MO. He survives of the home.
For over 35 years Linda worked as a registered nurse at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Chillicothe.
Her favorite things in life were spending time with her family, playing with the grandchildren, going to garage sales and raising flowers.
Linda is survived by her husband, Andy, listed above; one son, Matthew McDaniel and wife, Kami, of Chillicothe; a daughter Angela McDaniel of the home; two granddaughters, Melissa and Rachael McDaniel of Chillicothe; her mother, Margaret Christopher of Jamseport, MO; a sister, Karen Shuler and husband, Max of Trenton, MO; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father James Christopher.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport, MO.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
