Lolila Rose Cramer, 79, of Ludlow, MO, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO.
Lolila was born July 30, 1932 at the family home in southern Grundy County to J.W. and Lida (Ellis) Altenderfer. She was the youngest of 6 siblings.
She attended Liberty Chapel Church, only a short distance south of the family home and Liberty School on Highway 65 a short distance to the north of the home. Lolila attended junior high school in Trenton and was a 1949 graduate of Chillicothe, High School.
Lila moved to Chillicothe in the early 1950’s, where she worked at Safeway Grocery and the Lee Meek Store.
She married David Earl Cramer on June 3, 1956 at the home of the Rev. E Wayne Rosecrans in Trenton, Missouri. The couple lived in Chillicothe and later moved 4 miles south of Utica, Missouri. He survives of the home.
Lolila was a charter member of the Community Baptist Church in Utica. She enjoyed her garden, her sheep, eating out and watching TV.
She is survived by her husband, David Earl Cramer; Daughter, Linda Vanlandingham; son-in-law Chip Vanlandingham; a grandson, Grant Vanlandingham; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Galowe Altenderfer, Raould Altenderfer, Dourne Altenderfer, and an infant brother Benjamin Rudel Altenderfer; a sister, Paulawona Jones; and a grandson, David Vanlandingham.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO
Burial will be at Utica Cemetery, Utica, MO
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home.
