Lorna Bernice McKiddy, 90, of Chillicothe MO, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City MO.
Lorna was born in Livingston county Missouri, September 3, 1924, the daughter of Walter S. Wilson and Lucy Maud Plaster Wilson. She was valedictorian of the 1942 graduating class of Lock Springs High School.
On March 25, 1944 Lorna married Edgar Franklin McKiddy in Kansas City KS. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1988.
Lorna and Edgar collected antiques and after his death she operated Carousel Antiques in Jamesport. She was an excellent quilter and some of the quilts she sold went as far away as Australia. Lorna was also an avid reader
She is survived by daughter , Charlotte Sutton (David); son-in-law, Michael Spears; grandson Benjamin Sutton; granddaughters, Samantha Sutton (James Staton); Kathleen Spears and Erin Dennis (Brandon) all of Chillicothe; 3 brothers. Buford Wilson of Fairbault MN; Henry Wilson of Lock Springs MO, Harold Wilson (Sharon) of Blue Springs MO; 4 sisters Marjorie Berry of Chillicothe, Bessie Mason of Walnut Grove CA, Verna Tye of Chillicothe, and Donna MacLeod of Reno NV; brothers-in-law, John and Richard McKiddy; sisters in law, Ruth Houghton, Honor Emily Booker, Lois Eileen Swain; Cathie McKiddy, Carol McKiddy, and Barbara McKiddy; several nieces and nephews.
Lorna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, listed above; son, Walter Earl McKiddy; daughter, Beverly Spaers; and brother John Everett Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday March 28, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
