Lyle Wayne Paris, 92, of Chillicothe MO passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Lyle W. Paris was born October 31, 1921 in Dawn, MO the son of Paul Lee Paris and Vanna Verlene Hall Paris.
He was a life-long farmer in Livingston County, he had farms in Dawn then Pumpkin Center, Blacksmith’s Corner and in 1957 moved to his farm near Springhill.
After a courtship of 24 years, Lyle married his sweetheart, Shirley F. (Wooden) Shannon at the Free Methodist Church in Chillicothe. She survives of the home.
Lyle enjoyed reading, especially about trains and airplanes, and he liked to hunt. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Other survivors include a son Richard Shannon and wife Shirley of Chillicothe and a daughter Beverly Bryant of Hamilton MO; four grandchildren, Jade Shannon Lewis and husband Adam of Gower MO, Jami Danielle Williams and husband Ty of Hamilton MO, Scott Alan Shannon of Warrensburg MO, and Jordin Samantha Bryant of Hamilton MO; three great grandchildren Wren Lewis, Sam Williams and Sally Cate Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Eldon Paris and son-in-law, Danny Bryant.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery, Dawn MO.
There is no scheduled visitation but friends may call at the funeral home to sign the register.
