Mariam (Midge) Campbell

Mariam (Midge) S. Campbell, 94, of Chillicothe, MO passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe under the care of her family and Hedrick Hospice.
Midge was born August 23, 1918 in Holt County near Bigelow, MO the daughter of William Barton Couts and Eva May Mallon Couts. She was a graduate of Craig High School.
For most of her life Midge was a homemaker but had also worked briefly as a bookkeeper for K-Mart in Quincy, IL.
Midge married B. Frank Plumb on June 16, 1938 in Mound City, MO and they had two children, Carmen and Jerry. Frank preceded her in death on January, 10, 1978
On December 26, 1983 Midge married Agell Duane Campbell. They were married by Rev. Bingham at the First Christian Church of Chillicothe, MO. He survives of the home.
Midge was a member of the First Christian Church of Chillicothe, American Legion Post 25 of Chillicothe and Order of Eastern Star in Mound City for nearly 65 years.
She is survived by her husband Agell of the home; daughter, Carmen Seckington of Meadville. MO; 2 grandsons, Bret Seckington and wife Kathy of Meadville and Craig Seckington and wife Rita of Bentonville, AR; 2 great grandsons, Jacob Seckington and wife Rebecca of Topeka, KS and Dillon Seckington of Meadville; 2 great granddaughters, Taylor and Lauren Seckington of Bentonville AR; great great granddaughter Charlotte Seckington of Topeka KS; a stepson, Rev. Duane Campbell of Laredo, MO; two step granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
Midge was preceded in death by her first husband, B. Frank Plumb; a son, Jerry Plumb; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and son-in-law Clifford Seckington.
