Marian Lee McDonald, 88, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Sunday evening November 25, 2012 at Livingston Manor Care Center with her family by her side.
Marian was born January 30, 1924 in Sampsel, MO the daughter of Pres and Mary (Litton) Bills.
She attended Kirk Rural School in Sampsel Township and graduated from Lock Springs High School in 1942.
On July 18, 1942 she married Earnest E. McDonald in Gallatin, MO. He preceded her in death.
Marian and her husband always worked side by side in taking care of their farm. She enjoyed looking after the cattle, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Sue Gaston; four grandchildren, Vicki Vadnais and husband Chad of Chillicothe, Janet Cramer and husband John of Ludlow, MO, Kevin Gaston and wife Mandy of Chillicothe and Janelle Rader of Chillicothe; 15 great grandchildren, Alisha Corbett, Ashley Peniston, Audrey Vadnais, Calvin Vadnais, Caleb Vadnais, Jacob Vadnais, Clayton Vadnais, Caitlin &Garrett Cramer, Mallory, Laney and Lucy Gaston, Hunter, Sheldon and Carter Rader; 5 great great grandchildren; and 2 step-great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest, and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, MO.
