Marjorie Diann Mantzey

              Marjorie Diann Mantzey, 72, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away September 30, 2022 in Kansas City, Kansas.

            Marjorie was born in Milan, Missouri January 17, 1950 to parents James Wade and Amber Roberta McClanahan Pauley. She married Clarence Randall Mantzey on May 5, 2007 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Marjorie worked as a Correctional Officer at western Prison until her retirement.

            Marjorie was an exceptional cook and baker often preparing meals whenever she knew someone was about to visit. She also had a great love for shopping. Marjorie loved to spend time with her family.

            Marjorie is survived by her husband, C.R. Mantzey, children, Robert Duane Daley of Chillicothe; Michelle Denise Draper of Leavenworth, Kansas; Casandra Runkles and husband Mike of Quarter, Missouri; Clarence Mantzey III of San Antonio, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Amber Pauley; brother, James Andrew Pauley; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Daley.

            Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

            Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 10:00 am.

            Burial will take place at Busby Cemetery in Newtown, Missouri.
