Maurice Edward Jones, 88 of Chillicothe passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Maurice, was born February 15, 1928 in Carrollton, Mo the son of Warnie Jones and Bella Mae Cross Jones.
He attended Carrolton High School and retired from Chillicothe Municipal Utilities as a machine operator for the power plant.
On September 29, 1956 he married Wyletta June Dewey in Carrolton. She survives the home.
He is survived by 4 children, Michael Wayne Jones of Michigan, Debra Jean Head, of Chillicothe, Steven Dale Jones, ofChillicothe, and Jeffery Lee Jones and wife Barbare,of Bosworth, Mo, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Jeannie Cramer of Richmond, MO; nieces and nephews.
In honor of Maurice Jones, memorials may be made to Heritage Funeral Home, to help expenses and sent to 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO 64601. There has been a cremation and no services will be held to this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
