Norman C. Thieme, 96, of Chillicothe, MO formerly of Chula, MO passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at The Baptist Home in Chillicothe.
Norman was born June 17, 1916 in Chula, MO, the son of Harry M. Thieme and Helen Elizabeth Ward Thieme. He was a graduate of Chula High School.
On September 27, 1939 Norman married Louise Dorothy White and she preceded him in death January 1, 1997. He then married Elva Maxine Mason on September 12, 1998.
Norman was a life-long farmer in the Chula area and was a member of the Chula Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife Elva; four children, Jack Thieme and wife Donna of Humphreys MO, Kay Trevorrow and husband Art of Anaheim CA, John Thieme and wife Pam of Chillicothe, and Jim Thieme and wife Stephanie of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren, Lori Shiflett and husband James of Meadville, MO, Rich Thieme and wife Jeanie of Chillicothe, Lin Thieme and wife Ashley of Meadville, Joshua Thieme of Rolla MO, Hanna Thieme of Chillicothe and Kaylee Thieme of Chillicothe; 8 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nina Carr of Trenton MO and Lela Sarris of Ephrata WA; nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Louise Thieme.

Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, MO.
There will be no visitation, but friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
