Paul Hardin Jones, 90, of Dawn, MO died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Paul was born October 22, 1920 in Dawn, MO the son of Charles Benjamin Jones and Ethel Perryman Jones.
He was a 1938 graduate of Chillicothe High School and served in the United States Navy Sea Bees from August 1945 thru June 1946.
On May 20, 1944 Paul married the love of his life for 67 years, Margaret Helen Williams. She survives at Morningside Center, Chillicothe.
Paul was a life long farmer in the Dawn area.
He was a member of the Dawn Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and he was formerly secretary of the Linn Livingston Baptist Association. He was a member of the board of ASCS for over 30 years and was on the board of DCIA.
Paul is survived by his wife Margaret of Chillicothe; son, Gordon Jones and wife Sandy of Dawn; 3 daughters, Linda Powell and husband, Richard of Lee’s Summit, MO, Joyce Callahan and late husband Cliff Callahan of Chillicothe, and Juanita Assel and husband, Doug of Dawn; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Frances Jones and husband, Wendell of Dawn; brother-in-law, Burch Harrington of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Carol Jones; sister Ada Elizabeth Harrington and son-in-law, Cliff Callahan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 21.2011 at Dawn Baptist Church, Dawn, MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO
Burial will be at Welsh Cemetery, Dawn, MO.
