Pauline Webb, 78, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 surrounded by family after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on February 22, 1933 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late William Jefferson Madewell and Letha Lucinda (Lawson) Madewell. She was one of seven children. She married Russell Lee Webb in 1951 and together they had three sons. They enjoyed life together for 39 years before his passing in 1990.
Pauline lived in several different places in her life including Maryland Heights, MO where she spent the majority of her years raising her family; Poplar Bluff, MO where she and Russ moved to after retirement; and Gower and Chillicothe, MO where she moved to later in life to be closer to family.
She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Webb and wife Marcia of Branson, MO; Mark Webb of Riverside, MO; and Bill Webb and wife Laurie of Chillicothe, MO. A sister, Jane Godfrey, and two brothers, Gene Madewell and Alvin Madewell all of California. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russ; her parents; two sisters, Wilma and Bonnie; and a brother, Raymond.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO.
Family graveside services are planned for Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles, MO.
