Raymond Hoyt 81, of Chillicothe, MO. Passed away July 14, 2017 at Livingston Manor under the care of his family and St. Lukes Hospice.
Raymond was born at Blue Mound November 2, 1935, the son of Ray Lowell Hoyt and Mary Lucile Koehly Hoyt. He was a 1953 Chillicothe High School graduate.
On October 14, 1956, Raymond married Rosalee Willard at the Chillicothe First Baptist Church. Raymond was a member of the Blue Mound Cowboy Church, the Elks and the Livingston County Steam and Gas Engine Association. He was also very active in the 4-H and FFA Fair. Raymond had a special love for horses.
He is survived by two daughters Cindy Graham (David) of Wheeling, Linda McDaneld (David) of Hale; a son Dan Hoyt (Kim) of Chillicothe; Brother Jerry Hoyt and favorite sister in law Susie of Branson; eight grandchildren; Nick Graham, Kendall Carpenter, Kaley Hibner, Ashley Isaacs, Emilee Meyers, Whitney Ireland, Dustin Hoyt and Will McDaneld; five great grandsons,;one great grandchild due in December and  friend Hilda Hutchinson of Trenton.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosalee; son, Bobby Hoyt; and daughter in law Deanna Hoyt Lieber.
In lieu of flowers Memorials in honor of Raymond Hoyt may be made to the Blue Mound Cowboy Church or the Shriners Hospital and left or mailed to Heritage Funeral Home 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe MO 64601. On line condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
