Richard Railsback

Richard Ray Railsback age 84 of Chillicothe, Mo passed on to heaven Monday, Dec 27, 2021 in his home.

A celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Mo. Internment service will follow at the Avalon Cemetery.

Richard was born on April 23, 1937 in Trenton Mo. to Raymond and Hazel Simpson Railsback. He lived in several places in Missouri and Colorado moving around with family for work. Richard joined the United States Navy and completed his tour in the Mediterranean onboard the USS Mississinewa. Richard married Ernestine Jane Rhoades in August of 1962. He retired from Modine Mfg. in May 1999.  He enjoyed spending time camping in his RV and riding his golf cart with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father Raymond and Hazel Railsback.

Survivors include his Wife, Ernestine Railsback; Daughter Tammy and Husband Wiley Meneely of Meadville, Mo; Son Rick Railsback of Chillicothe, Mo; Sister Ann Hill of Grower, Mo; Brother Tom and Wife Margaret Railsback of Avalon , Mo; brother Robert and wife Judy Railsback of Trenton, Mo; Grandchildren Emily & Rylee Meneely of Meadville, Mo; Molly and Husband BR Wenzel of Dearborn, Mo; Shelby and Husband Ryan Miles of St. Joseph, Mo; John and Wife Bobbi Meneely of Chillicothe, Mo; Chauncey and Husband Jake Brooke of Braymer, Mo; Great grandchildren Cami Miles; Maggie & Brody Brooke; Audrie, Gabe and Kinser Meneely, Cooper and Carter Lucas.
