Ricky Hussey

Ricky Loyd Hussey, 61, of Avalon, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his home under the care of his family.

Rick was born May 26, 1959 in Chillicothe, Missouri to parents Gerald Dee and Shirley Marie (Harper) Hussey. He was a graduate of Tina -Avalon High School. Rick married Teri Jo White December 20, 2018 in Tina, Missouri. He worked in construction for Copeland Development.

Rick enjoyed drag racing, Chiefs Football and long Ranger rides by the river. He loved spending time with his family.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Teri Jo Hussey of the home; children,  Clint Hussey and wife Angie of Avalon; Cindy Mckernan of Saint Joseph; Spencer Hussey of Tina; Cassie Amick and husband Brandon of Jefferson, South Dakota; Blaze Hussey and wife Jnae of Utica; Trent Worman of Boliver; Jordan Gillilan of Tina; Tayler Williams of Avalon; 17 grandchildren, sisters, Willie Jo Barnett and husband Darrell of Lawson; Deedee Hussey of Florida.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Shirley Hussey and 2 grandsons.

A visitation will be held at Full Gospel Community Church Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Dinner will be at Avalon Community Center, Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Burial will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.
