Rosemary Joan Vadnais Morgan, 81, a resident of Breckenridge, MO passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Liberty Hospital.
She was born September 17, 1934 in Mooresville, MO the daughter of Ray and Blanche McMillen Tomlin. She was the youngest of the family and was called by the name of “Posey”.
In 1952 Rosemary married Charles “Bud” Vadnais
On April 30, 1995 she was united in marriage to Calvin Morgan. Together they spent many enjoyable hours renovating and restoring their home in Breckenridge. She opened her home to friends and family alike and had the gift of hospitality.
Rosemary was a graduate of Mooresville High School and worked until retirement for Green Hills Telephone Company. She was an active member of the Mooresville Christian Church.
She enjoyed working with her flowers, quilting and sewing, decorating, shopping, and entertained herself and others by playing the keyboard.
Her family and blended family brought her great joy and she considered herself blessed to have them all in her life.
Survivors include two sons, Chuck (Gail) Vadnais, of Lindale, Texas, and Chad (Vicki) Vadnais of Chillicothe MO; grandchildren, Troy Poulin, Trevor Poulin, Sarah Vadnais, Molly Lewis, Cameron Vadnais, Alisha Corbett, Ashley Vadnais, Audrey Vadnais, Calvin Vadnais, Caleb Vadnais, Jacob Vadnais, Clayton Vadnais, and son-in-law Dick Poulin: 14 great grandchildren; six step children, Sue (Jim) Jacobs of Chillicothe, MO, Terri (Larry) McAvoy of Shell Knob, MO, Mike (Julie) Morgan of Higby, MO, Linda (Bob) Moses of Richmond MO, Bob (Deanna) Morgan of Breckenridge, MO and Darin Morgan of Breckenridge; 7 step grandchildren, Miguel Spidle, Zach Morgan, Jessica Morgan, Emily Moses, Ryan Moses, Eric Moses and Benjamin Moses; 7 step great grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Roberts of Chillicothe MO, Charlotte Whitworth of Belton MO and Gereldine Baxter of Chillicothe MO; sister-in-law Billie Tomlin of Kansas City MO and numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Beverly Gaye Poulin; a brother Leon Tomlin; 2 sisters, Ember Henry and Shirley Darnel Ishmael and a step granddaughter, Devin Spidle Allee.
Rosemary will be remembered for her loving concern for others, her poise, her grace and positive spirit. She was an example of what it meant to embrace this life while at the same time and with eager anticipation looked forward to her new home awaiting. She was quick to share and blessed a great many by her abiding faith in her Lord and Savior.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe MO.
Burial will be at the Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home.
