Russell Gordon Nelson, 77, of Gallatin, MO, passed away August 20, 2016 at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron, MO.
Russell was born November 18, 1938 in Pocatello, ID the son of Clyde Francis Nelson and Mildred Esther Cornwall Nelson. He graduated High School in Pocatello.
On July 23, 1964 he married Betty Sue Troeger in Long Beach CA. She survives of the home.
Russell was the store manager for Martin’s Farm and Country in Trenton, MO for many years.
He and Betty were members of the Latter Day Saints Church in Trenton MO.
He is survived by his wife Betty listed above; two sons, Donnal “Bud” Nelson and wife Shari of Kansas City MO, and Russel Nelson and wife Janet of Dallas TX; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a brother, Larry Nelson; two sisters, Lois Rawson and Sandra Jensen.
