Ruth I. McNally, 93, of Chillicothe passed away June 23, 2012 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Ruth was born in Gopher, South Dakota, the daughter of George Raymond Bate and Jenny Mae Thompson Bate.
On September 12, 1937 Ruth married Lonnie McNally in Maysville, MO. He preceded her in death in 1971.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chillicothe.
Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, babysitting and caring for her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Walker and Kathy Anderson, both of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, John Michael Walker (Milisa) of Boonville MO, Lonnie Ray Walker (Liz) of Topeka KS, Matthew Brian Anderson Tiffany) of Chillicothe, and Kristin Leigh Sampsel (Jason) of Ludlow MO; several great & great great grandchildren; a sister Florence Keith of Wellington MO; a brother, Russell Bate (Peggy) of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie McNally; great grandchild, Lane Anderson; brother, George Bate; sister Mildred Brown; and son-in-law Michael Walker.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Anderson Smith Cemetery in Chillicothe.
There will be no visitation.
