Ruth Marie Woods

     Ruth Marie Woods, 96 of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away October 22, 2024 in Braymer Missouri. Ruth was born February the 20th, 1928 in Carroll County, the daughter of Fred Henry Maack and Lula Johnson Maack. She married Russell Clinton Woods on February the 29th 1948 in Kansas City Missouri. 

     Ruth was a graduate of Braymer High School. She worked at Southwest School and retired from Ludlow National Bank of Ludlow Missouri. She attended Ludlow church and was a past member of the Ludlow study club. Ruth enjoyed cooking, working with her flowers, and spending time with her family and Sparky (her dog). 

     Ruth is survived by two sons, Jack Earl Woods (Canda) of Braymer, MO, and Fred Dawn Woods (Ruth Ann) of Holts Summit, MO. Grandchildren, Teresa Marie Campbell husband Deric, Jeremiah Woods wife Becky, Chasity Dawn Edwards husband Don, Melissa Kitchin husband Clint, Great-grandchildren, Colyn Campbell, Denver Reynolds, Lexy Reynolds, Paeton Woods, Makenna Campbell, Jack Woods, Andrew Campbell, Ben Woods, Lorelei Woods, Elena Woods, and Hazel Kitchin. Sister, Dorothy Kelley of Kearney, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lula, husband Russell, sister Merle Craig, three brothers-in-law, Lawrence, Bill and Randall.

     Memorials in honor of Ruth Marie Woods may be made out Forrest O. Triplett Animal Shelter. Memorials may be mailed to Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO.

     There has been a cremation. Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, October the 30th at 10am with a memorial service to follow at Heritage Funeral Home at 11am. 

      A private family burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
