Sherman Garst, 81, of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe, under the care of his family and St. Luke’s Hospice.
Sherman Garst was born February 24, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Rufus Montgomery Garst and Carrie Emmaline Snider Garst. He was a graduate of Mooresville High School. On January 24, 1959 he married Donna Marie Caldwell at the Cowgill Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2010.
Sherman retired from Midwest Gloves and was a jack of all trades. He loved a good game of shooting pool, pitching horseshoes, bowling, gardening, country music and stumping everyone with numerous card and magic tricks. Spending time and sharing his knowledge, time and love with his family was his greatest joy.
Sherman is survived by his daughters, Pam Craft (Jeff) of Chillicothe; Charlotte Remagen (Tim) of Lawson; grandchildren, Zack Craft (Tabatha) of Gower, Tiffany Eckert (Randy) of Chula; Cole Remagen of Lawson; 9 great- grandchildren; sister, Edna Charlotte Morse of Gladstone.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Donna Marie Caldwell Garst; son, Randy Lee Garst; grandson, Cory James Craft; great-granddaughter, Jaylynn Marie Eckert; sister Dorothy Garst Sleep.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Funeral Service will be held Monday July 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
