Thelma Sizemore Garr

Thelma Marie Sizemore Garr, 86, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Marie was born August 19, 1929 in Chula, MO the daughter of Clyde Ross Spainhour and Delia Catherine Ireland Spainhour and she was a graduate of Laredo High School.
She ran her own upholstery business and retired after many years of work.
Marie married Donal R. Sizemore and he preceded her in death October 2, 1986. She then married Richard Garr and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2012.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Chillicothe, MO.
Marie is survived by five children, Julia Dickson (Mike) of Chillicothe, John Sizemore (Donna) of Chillicothe, Richard Sizemore (Ruthie) of Wolcott, IN, Rebecca Woody (Tom) of Brookfield, MO and Kevin Sizemore (Lori) of Trenton, MO; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Utley (Earl) of Chillicothe; and a brother, Gene Spainhour (Judy) of Meadville, MO; 3 sisters-in-law, Martha, Lori and Lena Spainhour; brother-in-law, Wayne Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donal R. Sizemore and Richard L. Garr; sisters, Edna Nevels and Linda Shannon; brothers, Emory, Donnie and Forest (Bumper) Spainhour; brother-in-law, Ernie Nevels.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, MO.
